20th April 2003 Windsurfing: Ynyslas estuary Wind Direction: NE Wind Stength: 20 - 30 Surf / Sea State: wind chop Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: Max Speed: Distance Covered: Was the first on the beach this morning even beat Al ! Wind was much the same as yesterday so my kit was too big rigged up anyway had a couple of good runs but was having to head up wind like crazy to lose speed at times I was having to do the reverse walk of shame (down wind instead of up on the beach). Being so over powerd, having to head up wind so much and my bad technique was causing me to have some major spin outs at times I was going sideways for 30 - meters at a time but spinning out was less scary than bearing away. Once the tide started going out it gave me other problems of keep luffing up when going with the tide I need some smaller kit! |
